The traditional recovery message is failing men!

Don’t believe me? Just look around. The percentages speak for themselves.

And let me tell you; "YOU ARE BEING LIED TO!!"

Ok, it’s not coming from men whose intent is to do you harm…. But the damage is happening nonetheless.

 

If you have been around the traditional recovery message for any length of time, you will be bombarded with your defects of character and your powerlessness.

It’s like, even though you are clean and sober, you are chained to this label and drag it around with you as you settle for a lifetime of meetings and listening to a sponsor.

 

The truth is the majority of men will never reap the rewards of long-term recovery from addiction?

And let me tell you. I have watched it for over 26 years. It is having deadly consequences.

Even the ones who are putting together a little bit of time are clean, sober and absolutely miserable. Their RELATIONSHIPS suck, their FINANCES suck, their PHYSICAL, MENTAL & SPIRITUAL HEALTH suck.

I wasn’t going to fall into that trap. And if you have fallen in it, this is your invitation out.

Powerless To Powerful was created for men who are on a quest to defeat the goliath of addiction on their way to being the best husbands, fathers, businessmen, and men of impact in their homes and in their communities.

If you want to live a life defined by your perceived defects and powerlessness…. Man that’s up to you. But if you are looking for something different than that… you are in the right place.

That first step says ‘powerless over my addiction’. It doesn’t say powerless over my life’

I have helped countless men over the last couple of decades understand that God didn’t create defective men. There is a Higher Power who created each of us in the image and likeness of the Power itself.

That’s why I am willing to say the one thing men in recovery want to say but won’t;

“It’s not in my nature to be powerless, and I can assure you my brother…it’s not in yours either”
