In 1999, Mark Mascolo, checked into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Nashville, Tn. He was a husband, a father, and a business owner.
Through a series of unfortunate decisions, his American Dream was becoming a nightmare. He found his company, his marriage and his life falling apart. As a successful college athlete, Mark had always been a ‘give me the ball, let’s do this thing’ kind of guy. But this addiction thing had gotten too big. He needed some help.
In 2000, a successful banker and commercial lender, Ashley DePriest, checked herself into the same treatment facility. Ashley’s life in the rat race had her asking questions about her future that had her settling for far less than she wanted. Living a life most people would dream of, she was coming apart inside. Her marriage was unraveling as was her physical health. She made a decision. She told herself, “I don’t care what I do, I just can’t do this anymore.”
Enter a lot of Divine Intervention. God had a plan and a purpose much greater than these 2 could have ever imagined. When they met, they had no idea what God had in store. As with most endings, men and women of faith believe in new beginnings. Mark and Ashley began their life together. With Mark’s creative and passionate spirit and Ashley’s master level studies in psychology and her business background, they found themselves looking to serve a higher purpose than the careers that had led them both to addiction.
God’s purpose became their purpose. Together, Mark and Ashley through their passion for personal and professional growth and accelerated human performance, backed by more than 40 years of combined study, are experts in the little-known, but ever-expanding field of The Psychology Of Empowerment. They are passionate about sharing God’s message of purpose, possibility and potential through the products, programs, and events they create.
2 Broken Roads, 1 Direction, God’s Plan, 1 Purpose.
